Double Trouble

Phew. It's only the interim of the day. Saturdays. Suck.

I worked at Flora this morning. I flew around the restaurant on light feet motivated by french presses and chive scrambled eggs. I would be happy enough if that were it for today, but I have to go to Cato's in a half an hour and find some other source of motivation. This time for towers of pint glasses and red beet salads. It's different but the same, and I would prefer to instead sink further into this impression I've made for myself here in bed. But alas, I have another year to be your waitress. Better hurry on down for a burger.

Another year. A whole year. Will she make it folks? Will she manage to save enough money for her travels?

Marlowe is back from his month on the PCT where he succeeded in hiking the first 478 miles from the Mexican border to the Andersons. I was just looking at his pictures from his hike. The pictures from the Kickoff reminded me of all the reasons that I look forward to hiking the CDT next summer. There is a video around the campfire of us yelling at Jester to show us his wiener. If that isn't reason enough then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you just aren't cut out to hang with TBD on the CDT.

Here's some pictures and video from the Kickoff:
